🪢 Weave two PDFs

Alternate pages from two PDFs: A1, B1, A2, B2… Perfect when your scanner did fronts and backs separately.
Runs in your browser
No sign-up
No watermark
Quick answer
Weaving alternates pages from two PDFs: page 1 of the first, page 1 of the second, page 2 of the first, and so on. It rebuilds a double-sided document scanned as two separate files.

First PDF (front sides)

Second PDF (back sides)

Second file is in reverse order
Most sheet-fed scanners give you the backs last-to-first.

How to use Weave two PDFs

Step 1
Add the front-sides PDF and the back-sides PDF.
Step 2
Keep “Second file is in reverse order” on if your scanner gave you the backs last-to-first.
Step 3
Press Weave now and download woven.pdf.

What people use it for

• Fix a duplex document scanned by a single-sided feeder
• Alternate two language versions page by page
• Merge a document with its annotated copy

Frequently asked questions

Why are my back pages in the wrong order?

Many scanners read the second pass in reverse. Turn on the reverse option and the pages line up.

What if the files have different page counts?

Pages are woven until one file runs out, then the rest of the longer file is added at the end.

Where do my files go?

Most tools work entirely inside your browser tab, so the PDF is processed on your device and not uploaded to us. The AI tools are the exception: with your own key, the text of your PDF is sent to the AI provider you choose, and they say so before you start.

Do I need an account, and is there a limit?

No account, no watermark and no daily limit set by the site. Very large files are limited only by your device’s memory.
